Why 10 Minute Makeup Tutorials?
Updated: Jul 16, 2020
Over the years I've watched a million make up tutorials and always drew the same conclusion: I simply didn't have the time on a daily basis to recreate most of these looks, and as a result, they were always filed away for a special occasion. As a mum, I normally have at best 20 minutes in the morning including hair and skincare. Add to that, a four year old hanging on your leg and you can understand how the idea for 10 minute tutorials came up.
Using my knowledge and skills as a makeup artist, I decided I wanted to come up with a way of making makeup accessible for everyone on a day to day basis. All my tutorials are designed to be easy to follow and I include a list of products you'll need at the beginning of each video. You will often see me using the same products in multiple videos, again to show you that you don't necessarily need the kit of a makeup artist. Every tutorial is tripled checked to test they are achievable in 10 minutes. They are there to give you ideas that you can use every day regardless of whether you're going shopping, to work or for a dinner date.
There is however, one step that is essential to achieving these looks. Organising your products the night before, will ensure you have everything to hand to get your make up done in no time! Don't forget, not all the steps are essential so feel free to pick and choose the parts you like and spend more time on the areas you want to focus on. Most of all, feel confident and happy in your own skin!
